Cowboys' Trevon Diggs 'Undisclosed' Injury Revealed on Report

What's the latest on Cowboys star Diggs, who involved himself in controversy after Sunday's loss when he made a scene confronting a reporter over a Twitter observation?

FRISCO - An eventful week for Dallas Cowboys standout cornerback Trevon Diggs continued at midweek as he missed the Wednesday practice here at The Star in Frisco with what the team first labeled an "undisclosed'' injury.

Of course, by NFL rule (and to the delight of the gambling community) there is no such legal thing as an "undisclosed'' injury. So as the day went on - and as Diggs, who did not practice - met with the media "undisclosed'' became "disclosed.

Diggs is dealing with a calf issue that caused him to be one of seven Cowboys to miss work as the 3-4 team preps for a Sunday visit to the 5-3 Atlanta Falcons.

Also unavailable on the day were defensive tackle Linval Joseph (back), right guard Zack Martin (shoulder), defensive end Micah Parsons (ankle), linebacker Nick Vigil (foot) and cornerback DaRon Bland (foot).

Parsons is notable as he continues to work with the rehab group, not necessarily a positive sign as he labors to return to the field. Bland is notable because his 21-day window for activation was up; he could upgrade his involvement on Thursday.

And in the case of Diggs, who involved himself in controversy after Sunday's loss at the Niners when he made a scene confronting a reporter over a Twitter observation that all things considered was fairly innocuous? (To Diggs' credit, he met with reporter Mike Leslie during his group media session and gifted him a can of "D'ee's Nuts.'')

Diggs referred to the calf issue as “tightness,'' saying, "It was a little sore coming out of the game. Probably one of the plays I got hit or something. I’m getting treatment and working through it.”

Kicker Brandon Aubrey was the seventh unavailable Cowboys player as he finished his stint at  jury duty.
