Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb Wants Jerry Jones To Make a Change

CeeDee Lamb wants a big change from Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys following their 34-6 Week 10 loss to NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, at AT&T Stadium.

With Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott out for the foreseeable future, Cooper Rush got the nod as the starter. As a result, Lamb had one of his worst outings of the season, recording just six catches for a season-low 22 yards.

With all the issues in Big D this season, there was one in particular that stood out to Lamb during the loss to Philly.

Late in the second quarter, the Cowboys, with the ball at the Eagles three-yard line, were looking to take the lead with a touchdown.

On 2nd-and-goal, Rush threw towards an open Lamb in the end zone, but, due to the sunlight beaming straight into his eyes through the end zone windows at AT&T Stadium, the former Oklahoma Sooners star lost track of the ball. This led to an incomplete pass and forced Dallas to take a field goal, its final points of the game.

Following the loss, Lamb discussed the play with the media, admitting that he "couldn't see" the ball from Rush due to the sun. When asked if he was in favor of adding curtains to the stadium, Lamb didn't hesitate to answer.

"Yes," Lamb responded. "One thousand percent."

Lamb has still proven to be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL throughout the season. With Prescott leading the charge, the No. 17 pick in the 2020 NFL draft was top five in the league in both catches and receiving yards. Following Week 10, that will likely change.

Through nine games, Lamb has tallied 59 catches for 681 yards and four touchdowns, one of the few bright spots on a reeling Cowboys squad.

Dallas now falls to 3-6 on the season, and it won't get any easier for them. It will get two Super Bowl contenders in the next two weeks, including the Houston Texans and the Washington Commanders. With Rush or third-stringer Trey Lance likely leading the charge, it might be time for Jones to consider some changes outside of window curtains.
