“Here’s to forever!” Wilson wrote in an Instagram post.

🏈 Frontman of the rock band Poison, Bret Michaels, was named the most famous celebrity Steelers fan by Yahoo Sports. Michaels, who’s from Butler, Pa., said he’s been a die-hard Steelers fan since he was born.

Michaels is a big name, but it’s surprising that he was picked over actor Joe Manganiello and rapper Snoop Dogg.

🏈 The Steelers landed Colorado cornerback Travis Hunter at 14th overall in the 33rd Team’s way-too-early 2025 mock draft.

“While Travis Hunter can play corner and wide receiver at Colorado, his best fit at the next level is probably on the defensive side.

“His instincts and ball skills are much rarer on that side of the ball. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be smitten with Hunter’s tough-nosed mindset, and he’ll fill a huge need across from Joey Porter Jr.,” Ian Valentino of the 33rd Team wrote.

🏈 The Steelers were left out of Pro Football Focus’ perfect AFC North team.

🏈 On a recent appearance on the Stuck On My Thoughts podcast, hosted by former NCAA All-American track star Justin Stuckey, former Steelers quarterback Chris Oladokun revealed that he was intentionally released by Pittsburgh during the preseason in 2022.

“Coach Tomlin was very transparent with me,” Oladokun said. “When I got cut, giving me an opportunity to even cut me earlier than the last cut of the last preseason game. Just so I could find another opportunity. That was a blessing in disguise. I’ll always respect and love Coach Tomlin for that. Because he really did look out for me in terms of that.”

Oladokun signed with the Kansas City Chiefs shortly after his release. Oladokun is currently the third quarterback option behind Patrick Mahomes and Carson Wentz.

🏈 The University of Miami Ohio paid tribute to Ben Roethlisberger Field on Saturday. The indoor practice facility was named after Roethlisberger in 2015.

🏈 Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson recently got married.
