Dak Prescott appears to be making big offseason change

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott appears to be making a significant change this offseason after a disappointing 2024.

Dak Prescott appears to be making big offseason change

Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson shared a video of a workout with Prescott in which the quarterback looks noticeably slimmer. Ferguson claimed in a caption that Prescott has lost 50 lbs., and even nicknamed him “Slim Reaper.”

The claim that Prescott has dropped that much weight certainly looks exaggerated, but the quarterback has definitely slimmed down some. The team’s official website lists him at 238 lbs., for what that’s worth.

Prescott has plenty of reason to be locked in for 2025. Last season ended prematurely for him due to a hamstring injury, but he has suggested he is putting in extra work to make sure that problem is behind him. More importantly, the Cowboys have a new coach in Brian Schottenheimer, and are facing long-term questions about the state of the organization after a 7-10 campaign.

Last season, Prescott threw for 1,978 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions in eight games before suffering his season-ending injury.

Prescott really thinks the Cowboys are close to the league’s elite organizations. Few would agree with him at this point. P
