Dak Prescott sinks 65-foot putt at Stonebriar Country Club

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott recently sank a 65-foot putt while playing golf at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas. It was all part of the recently announced collaboration between Prescott and Good Good Golf. Prescott was with his brother Ted, Will Grier, and the Good Good Golf team, and he hit the putt on the last hole to win the match (Prescott’s putt is at the 54:42 mark).

Dak Prescott seems to enjoy golf, and it’s a family affair. In October, the 31-year-old proposed to his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, at a golf course since she loves to play.

“Set it up with a couple friends. She had no idea. She’s a big golfer, thought we were going golfing,” he said at the time. “Told her we had a lifetime to golf. We’ll golf another day.”

Prescott revealed that the ring was in a fake golf ball that he bought after sinking a putt. “I dropped it and she almost hit it,” Prescott said. “[I said] wait. Just glad she said yeah and just super, super blessed and happy and thankful for this family I started.”

Dak Prescott talks Cowboys’ changes for 2025 season

The Cowboys don’t start training camp until July 21, so Prescott has time to golf before he gets back to work. He’s looking to have a strong 2025 season after missing half of 2024 due to a hamstring injury. Before the start of the 2024 season, Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension with the Cowboys.

Earlier this month, Prescott talked about the direction the Cowboys are heading after the team hired Brian Schottenheimer to be the head coach and traded for wide receiver George Pickens.

“It starts with personnel,” he said, per Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com. “The changes we’ve made and not just on offense, but on defense as well — bringing in people, obviously, George really opens up things for all those other receivers [alongside CeeDee Lamb]. I think it just gives them a safety net to go earn, and to play free, and to go make a huge jump. Guys like [Jonathan] Mingo and [Jalen] Tolbert, and the way the [running] backs have approached this thing, I’m super excited.”

Prescott has been with the Cowboys since 2016. In his career, Prescott has been named to the Pro Bowl three times, selected to the All-Pro Second Team in 2023 and was named Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year in 2022.
