Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Turning Heads With Major Announcement

The Dallas Cowboys' players, coaches and staff are usually the contingent representing The Star away from home, but now their cheerleaders are set to take their own show on the road.

FRISCO — The star power and celebrity of the Dallas Cowboys continues to grow, regardless of the team's results on the field. Even last season when the Cowboys dribbled to one of the most disappointing campaigns of the 2024 NFL season, they remained a draw and even got a prime time spot as late as Week 16.

If one is not convinced by the actual team as it stands now, look into the entertainment world where the Cowboys, and specifically owner Jerry Jones, are chiseling out their own space.

Jones delivered an exceptional guest performance on an episode of "Landman" and will be a central character of a Netflix documentary series entitled America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys. The program will premier sometime in 2025.

Clearly, there is no shortage of attention for the Cowboys who also lay claim to the title of the most valuable sports franchise in the world, according to Forbes.

But that shine and sparkle is not privy to only the football team. The cheerleaders are starting to take in the spotlight. The Cowboys' cheerleaders made waves with their show, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Now, they are turning heads with announcement of a tour across Texas. The tour will consists of five dates through the final week of May when the ladies start in Dallas before traveling to San Antonio, Austin, Midland and El Paso.

The shows will also consist of auditions for those hoping to join.

This is a venture completely unique to the cheer squads across the NFL. Nonetheless, it is a headline grabber with the group set to have their show renewed for a second season per a release from Netflix in November.

While the platform of the Cowboys' Cheerleaders continues to grow, it should also be noted that they are involved in more than just performing arts and have had a hand in various charitable and philanthropic efforts across the DFW Metroplex.

The Dallas Cowboys have a brand that exceeds the football landscape and now that pertains to their cheer squad as well.
