Dallas Cowboys Reportedly Make Big Micah Parsons Decision

The Dallas Cowboys have been dealt some crushing injury news regarding Dak Prescott ahead of their Week 10 contest with the Philadelphia Eagles. And while his season may be coming to an end, it appears as if the Cowboys are set to get a big boost on the other side of the ball with the return of Micah Parsons.

The star linebacker has missed Dallas' past four games due to a high left ankle sprain, which is a big reason for their defensive woes. Injuries to key players such as Prescott and CeeDee Lamb have only made things more difficult for the Cowboys, and losing their star quarterback for the rest of the season could be a knockout blow.

However, they aren't down yet, and the return of Parsons could be what the team needs to get back on track. Sure enough, according to ESPN's Todd Archer, Parsons is expected to return to action in Week 10, as he "was able to get through Saturday's practice without any issues."

From the moment he entered the NFL in 2021, Parsons has been one of the most disruptive defenders in the game. In just three seasons, he was a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time First Team All-Pro who has also finished in the top three of the Defensive Player of the Year race in all three campaigns.

Parsons didn't make his typical impact in the first four games of the season, as he had just one sack during that stretch. Still, just Parsons' presence strikes fear into opposing offenses, and his return should provide Dallas with a big boost.

Ultimately, the biggest storyline for this game is Cooper Rush taking over for Prescott under center, but Parsons' return is key, and it could be just what Dallas needs. Kickoff for their matchup with the Eagles on Sunday afternoon is currently scheduled for 4:25 P.M. EST.
