Dallas Cowboys Sign Another ‘Speedster’ Offensive Weapon In Addition To Ezekiel Elliott

The Dallas Cowboys are bringing back two familiar faces for the upcoming season. The Cowboys agreed to terms with Ezekiel Elliott on Monday, and the paperwork became official on Tuesday. The Cowboys needed an RB1 to replace Tony Pollard, who left for the Tennessee Titans.

Elliott is expected to be the RB1 for Dallas after the team failed to draft a running back over the weekend. The team has lost several key offensive players since free agency started other than Pollard, including two starters on the offensive line. Wide receiver Michael Gallup signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.

With Gallup in Las Vegas, the Cowboys decided to add depth to the position by signing a player they released at the end of last season. According to a statement by the team, the Cowboys signed Tyron Billy-Johnson to the roster.
