The Detroit Lions are 14-2 on the season and cruising toward their biggest game of the year so far Sunday Night against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Lions must defeat Kevin O'Connell's bunch to secure home field throughout the playoffs and avoid falling behind in the NFC, making matters paramount at Ford Field this coming weekend.
On Wednesday, coach Dan Campbell's Lions received high praise from four-time Pro Bowler Nick Bosa of the 49ers after the Lions went into hostile territory and beat last season's NFC Champions.
"I don't think they're that different, I think they've had a ton of injuries on defense which hurts 'em, but the mentality of the head coach, you can see it throughout everybody, it's really a cool team, I can just see from afar that it's probably a fun team to play for, and they come out and they play to win every game and I respect that," Bosa said in a postgame press conference.

Bosa had five tackles including three assisted on Monday as the 49ers fell 40-34 to their budding rivals from the NFC North.
Now, it will be up to Campbell and company to finish the job they started with a surging Vikings team preparing to take on the Ford Field crowd, and the Lions, this coming Sunday evening.
