There has been no shortage of trade talks, lately, when it comes to the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers' former teammate, wide receiver Davante Adams.
Thanks, in part, to Netflix's new series, "Receiver," the Adams trade talk has only been elevated as of late. In one of the episodes, we saw the two of them had spent a few hours together before last year's matchup between the Jets and Raiders, with Adams telling Rodgers just how much he enjoyed the time together and how much he missed his quarterback.
Yet, despite his unwavering love for his former quarterback, the All Pro wideout has continued to state his support for the Raiders.
One can't help but wonder, though, what if an opportunity presented itself for Adams to reunite with Rodgers in New York? Would that be enough to entice him out of Las Vegas?
As it turns out, it sure would.

Amidst all of the rumors and whispers, Adams went on Shannon Sharpe's podcast and answered a question, yet again, in regards to the topic at hand:
"I'll answer it like this. If I'm going to be reunited with anyone, it would be with Aaron. I'm locked in with the Raiders and I really feel good about this team. As far as I know, they feel good about me. And if that ever changes ... obviously, we would figure out whatever we needed to figure out."
After watching the entirety of the "Receiver" series, it's tough not to see Adams ultimately leaving the Raiders. Sure, he loves his teammates and formed a bond with new head coach Antonio Pierce, but the frustrations continued throughout the season. Adams cares about winning. He cares about his legacy. And if Aidan O'Connell or Gardner Minshew prove to be unworthy of leading the Raiders to a winning season, early on, it would not be shocking to see Las Vegas pursue a trade.
And in that case, the trade would only involve the Jets, if Adams had any say in the matter. He does not have a no-trade clause in his contract with the Raiders, but one would assume Las Vegas would try to do right by their captain and leader.
