Denise Richards wasn’t expecting Charlie Sheen’s positive reaction to her new reality show.
The actress’ ex-husband has been “supportive from day one” of her upcoming Bravo series, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.”
In Richards’ People cover story, published Wednesday, she shared Sheen’s thoughts on the trailer.
“He … sent me such a wonderful sweet positive text,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum recalled.
Richards, who was married to Sheen from 2002 to 2006, said, “I was actually really surprised. It meant a lot to me.”
The trailer aired in February, with Richards telling viewers she and Sheen “f–ked up” their girls.
The former couple co-parent daughters Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, and the siblings co-star in the new show alongside Richards and husband Aaron Phypers’ 13-year-old daughter, Eloise.
While Sheen, 59, is not a part of the series, his ex-wife Brooke Mueller makes multiple appearances with their teenage sons.
“Charlie is always invited to holiday dinners. There’s always an open door and that goes for Brooke and the boys as well,” Richards said.
“I’m always, the more the merrier,” she continued. “I want everyone to get along and everyone to be peaceful.”
The model reflected on temporarily taking in Bob and Max, now 15, when Mueller lost custody amid her substance abuse struggles.
“I’m grateful we were able to help them during that time,” Richards told the outlet.
Mueller last gave a co-parenting update in a September 2024 episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, breaking down her “fantastic” dynamic with Sheen.
“My kids live with me full-time, but Charlie and I are neighbors,” Mueller explained at the time. “And so we talk daily, sometimes, oftentimes, multiple times a day. He comes over a lot. We go over there.”
She and Sheen were married from 2008 to 2011.
While the “Two and a Half Men” alum has also struggled with substance abuse issues over the years, he got sober in 2017.
“Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” premieres March 4 on Bravo.
