Did Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens hint at future plans for the storied ball club? With the Celtics staring down not only star forward Jayson Tatum being out for much or even all of next season with a torn Achilles tendon, but also fellow star on the wing Jaylen Brown dealing with a partially torn meniscus that the longer rehab might have him out for a good chunk of the season after as well, Stevens and company have even tougher choices to make.
And with a historic payroll and tax bill about to drop on the roster, hard choices were already on tap for this offseason. The Celtics president recently sat down with the media to talk it all over. Did he give us any clues about what might be coming down the pike for Boston fans?
