Discussion: What’s the farthest you’ve traveled to a Lions game?

In recent years, the Detroit Lions faithful have showed up and showed out on the road. I clearly remember a strong Lions presence at road games in New Orleans, Green Bay, and, repeatedly, Tampa Bay. Throughout the 2023 season, “Let’s go Lions” chants could be heard across national broadcasts, even on the road.

This year, the Lions have another road schedule with some notoriously cool stadiums, like Dallas’ AT&T Stadium, Houston’s NRG stadium, and San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium.

Question of the day: What’s the farthest you’ve traveled for a Lions game?
My answer: So far, just Ford Field. But for what it’s worth, I did have a flight to Vegas booked ahead of the NFC Championship game, just in case. You can go ahead and blame that loss on me now.

This year, I’m hoping to go cross country to see the Lions take on the Cardinals in Arizona. I’ll also be at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for the preseason game against the Giants, but I’m a New Yorker now, so I don’t know if that counts. I’ve also made the trip down to Jerry World for a Cowboys game on Thanksgiving, but that, of course, wasn’t against the Lions since they always celebrate Turkey Day at home.
