The Dodgers knew they wouldn't need all of their star pitchers, but there are some injury concerns just a little over a month into the season.

Both Blake Snell (left shoulder inflammation) and Tyler Glasnow (right shoulder inflammation) are on the 15-day injured list. Edgardo Henriquez (foot) was put on the 60-day injured list just under two weeks ago. The Dodgers have seen some relief pitchers go in and out of the injured list.

Meanwhile, their biggest star in Shoehei Ohtani isn't ready to take meaningful pitches in a regular season game since having elbow surgery in September of 2023.

On Tuesday, the Dodgers made key changes to their pitching rotation involving some of their young players. The Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Matt Sauer from Triple-A while sending right-handed Noah Davis back down.

Sauer has played in one Major League game this season. In that one game played in the Dodgers' 6-4 road loss to the Washington Nationals, Sauer allowed three hits and one run in 1.2 innings.

He played five games and 14.2 innings for the Oklahoma City Comets this season, Sauer posted an ERA of 1.84 allowing 11 runs and three runs while delivering 14 strikeouts.

Davis is going back to the Comets after posting an ERA of 10.13 in three games and 2.2 innings played last week. He allowed three hits and four while delivering three strikeouts.
