Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Dontayvion Wicks Provides Injury Update After the Game

Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks spoke to Ryan Wood after the game was over about his injury. He told him that he had a shoulder sprain and didn’t expect the injury to be long-term. Wicks said to the media:

“Just pain. Couldn’t really move it.”

Wicks was asked about his availability for next week against the Houston Texans at home. He said:

“I’m day to day. I’m going to be good.”

This is relieving news for the Packers because they have dodged many major injuries this season. Green Bay appears to have more good luck on their side with them this season than they did a season ago.

Christian Watson Dodged Major Ankle Injury Two Weeks Ago

Last week, Christian Watson did not play for the Packers because of an ankle injury he suffered two weeks ago against the Minnesota Vikings. Watson was active for this game against the Arizona Cardinals and luckily he wasn’t placed on injured reserve.

Dontayvion Wicks is fortunate that his shoulder injury is not serious. We will see what happens with him practicing later this week. Wicks plays a role in this offseason when healthy.
