Draymond Green Makes Honest Admission About Jimmy Butler 'Overcommunicating'

A video of Jimmy Butler coaching up his Golden State Warriors teammate during a dead-ball situation recently turned heads on social media. In it, the six-time All-Star is seen drawing something up on the coaching board as teammates Draymond Green and Brandin Podziemski listen attentively.

While it is unclear what exactly Butler was cooking up at that moment, there's no denying that he had the attention of at least a couple of his new teammates.

Green recently shed light on that intriguing in-game moment during Sunday's episode of his "The Draymond Green Show" podcast. According to the former Defensive Player of the Year winner, Butler was showing them a set that would potentially result in the latter getting himself free from the opposition's defense.

Green then went on to heap praise on Butler as he talked up the former Miami Heat star's elite communication skills.

"He dialed in on it," Green said of Butler. "Jimmy is an overcommunicator. Jimmy is going to come to you before something ever happens."

Green then came to an admission about how much he enjoys exchanging ideas with Butler.

"I'll be honest with you: To talk basketball with somebody that knows the basketball game like Jimmy and listen and learn from somebody who knows the game like Jimmy, it’s music to my ears him overcommunicating the way he does,” Green declared.

Butler has played six games for the Warriors since his mid-season blockbuster trade from the Heat. Golden State has won all but one of those games, including Sunday's convincing 126-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Warriors are looking like a different team with Butler in the picture, and it appears that there's nowhere to go but up for this squad.
