It's a time of change for the New Orleans Saints. The roster will undergo notable adjustments this offseason. They will have a new head coach in the coming weeks.
Legendary Saints quarterback Drew Brees shared some thoughts on the organization's outlook
Brees teases return to Saints
On Adam Schefter's podcast, Brees was questioned about potential return to the team in some capacity. Of course, that would not be as a player, but a role as a coach or front office member seemingly remains on the table.
I don't know...we'll see...it's in my blood, it always will be. I'm always going to be a Saint..." -- Brees when asked about a future role with the Saints
He definitely didn't rule it out. Not to mention, Brees consistently referred to the Saints as "We" or "Us" during the podcast episode, and that is nothing new.
When talking to the media since retirement, he has often referred to the team in that manner because he will always feel like a part of the organization and city of New Orleans.
Down the road, it certainly seems like a strong possibility that the former QB could be a piece of the franchise's future success.
