Eagles C.J. Gardner Johnson roasts fans in hilarious IG live following win over Packers

When C.J. Gardner-Johnson returned to the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency this offseason, the team got some needed veteran experience in their defensive backfield.

They also welcomed back one of the most priceless personalities the NFL has to offer.

Saquon Barkley praises Eagles' OL for fueling RB's 3-TD debut with new team

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley heaps praise on the Eagles' offensive line play for their role in helping him score three touchdowns in his debut with his new team against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season.

Easily one of the team’s most active players on social media, Gardner-Johnson pulled out his phone as the Eagles celebrated their 34-29 season-opening win over the Packers late Friday night in Brazil. As players likely experience following every game on social media, CJGJ caught some flack for missed tackles, for example:

Gardner-Johnson responded to fans on Instagram Live, with teammates chattering in the background. The stream included some colorful language and can be seen here.

I want y’all to come to practice and I’ma have A.J. Brown do exactly what bro did and have his ass coming downhill. I missed two tackles the whole game.

The post was fun and harmless. Teammate Dallas Goedert could be heard in the background laughing off the fact that he likely lost fans some money who bet the over on his receiving prop for the game. Included in the rant was Gardner-Johnson stating "I love my Philly fans," which he reiterated by reposting this tweet on X.com.

Social media is fair game these days. If fans, especially from NFC rival teams, want to dish it, guys like CJGJ will have a response.
