The Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) wrapped up their final practice on Friday ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints (2-0).
Two key starters did not participate in Friday's practice: starting wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) and starting safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson (foot).
Brown was ruled out while Gardner-Johnson, who tweaked his foot during Wednesday's walkthrough, remains questionable for Sunday.
Gardner-Johnson did, however, hint that he may be available.
Per Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Gardner-Johnson declined to speak to the media but said, "See ya Sunday,” while he was packing his bags.
Below is the Eagles' injury report following Friday's practice:
Eagles Week 3 Injury Report Observations
- If Gardner-Johnson's foot is unavailable, then the Eagles are expected to move Avonte Maddox to starting safety with Reed Blankenship.
- Wilson was on last week's injury report with a hamstring injury but was available on Monday night and played 19 snaps. He practiced in full on Friday and is good to go.
- Brown was ruled out on Monday night and reportedly expected to miss a "couple" of weeks. With Brown ruled out, the Eagles have Jahan Dotson, DeVonta Smith, Johnny Wilson and Britain Covey to lean on. Of course, there is also Dallas Goedert.
- Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (hand) has not popped up on this week's injury report so far which is a good sign that he should be available and ready to play against New Orleans.
- Devin White (ankle), Milton Williams (foot), and Fred Johnson (thumb), who were also on last week's injury report have been healthy all week.
New Orleans Saints Friday Injury Report
Meanwhile, the Saints had 12 players on their final injury report this week.
Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (calf) is the only player ruled out for Sunday so far.
