Rumors never seem to end when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles late in the season.
The latest of which hasn't even been too harsh for the organization.
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported earlier this week that a key meeting between two of Philadelphia's top leaders during their bye week in October was the key transformation to allow the team to go on their now 10-game winning streak.
"In the BYE week, Brandon Graham and ‘Big Dom' went to (Jalen Hurts') house and said, ‘We need you to kinda connect more with everybody here,'" Glazer said. "As a quarterback you kind of get lost in that, there's so much other stuff you've got to do. And he went out of his way. He met with the offensive line. He met with [Nick] Sirianni several times and connected with him. Connected with like- he went out of his way, with Graham, with everybody to connect with them more."
Nothing too harsh about any of that.
Even still, the story took on new life when both Graham and Hurts stated Wednesday evening that no such private event took place.
So who is lying - Glazer, or two of the Eagles' big leaders on the roster?
It's no secret that the bye week was a transformational time for the franchise. Philadelphia was 2-2 going into the week of rest and came out with a different mindset on all sides of the ball. Among the most important things to come from that week, though, was the improved relationship of Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni.
Now at 12-2, Glazer's report won't send Philadelphia into as much of a panic as previous week's have, but it is interesting that both players involved unequivocally denied that exact report.
