Eagles named as destination for All-Pro defender after cryptic social media post

If Howie were to pull this off, the Pro Football Hall of Fame had better add another member to its 2025 class.

T.J. Watt, Philadelphia Eagles

We've seen Howie Roseman do some pretty impossible things. He offered Carson Wentz a small fortune, shipped him off, and somehow fleeced his trade partner by making them take him. He tricked the Tennessee Titans on draft day and landed A.J. Brown. He offers his players record-setting deals and somehow does so without putting his team at a financial disadvantage.

It seems as though Howie can do no wrong. Even when he seems to be guessing (Zack Baun) or taking a chance, things just work out more often than not, but if he were to pull this off, he'd need to be placed into the coming 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, even if they have already named the included members.

The Eagles are mentioned as one of T.J. Watt's top five landing spots if the Steelers move on.

Say it ain't so! T.J. Watt in Philly? One of the Pittsburgh Steelers' most followed platforms for all things Black and Gold seems to think it's a transaction that might make sense.

If you're confused, here's the skinny. T.J. Watt recently dropped a cryptic post on his social media channels, and the world went bananas.

Some took T.J.'s peace sign as meaning contract negotiations were stalling, and this was his way of saying goodbye to the Steel City. We all know how these discussions turn, right? Of course, the Eagles were named as a possible destination.

USA TODAY's Steelers Wire mentioned the Birds among five landing spots. The Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers were the other four.

Honestly, we don't think this will lead to anything tangible. Does it ever? Do you see how much time we wasted fantasizing over Myles Garrett?

Then again, that was Myles Garrett, and this is T.J. Watt. How could we ignore a statement like this, even if it probably has no bearing on reality?
