The 24-year-old star logged two quarterback hits against Patrick Mahomes. Smith played 30 snaps on defense and three on special teams.

The Eagles defense limited the Chiefs to 275 yards and forced three turnovers. Philadelphia dominated time of possession, holding the ball for 36:58 compared to Kansas City's 23:02.

The 2023 first-round pick contributed 42 combined tackles, eight TFLs, 6.5 sacks, a forced fumble and 11 quarterback hits in 2024.

Smith had surgery on Wednesday to repair the injury. He is expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 season. The 24-year-old linebacker has two years remaining on his rookie contract.

Last week, the Eagles celebrated their Super Bowl victory with a parade through Philadelphia. Several players spoke and celebrated in front of thousands of fans, and general manager Howie Roseman turned heads when he was inadvertently hit in the forehead with a beer.
