Eagles Urged To Steal Kayvon In Trade From ‘Confused’ Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles always seem to find a way to make the New York Giants a laughing stock - something that has happened more and more over the last few years to this point.

Philadelphia Eagles Urged To Steal Kayvon Thibodeaux In Trade From 'Confused' Giants - Athlon Sports

Philadelphia not only has won 23 of the last 30 games played between the two teams, but the way they have won has been even worse. Making matters more embarrassing for Big Blue is the fact the Eagles find former Giant players and excel with them.

Whether it's Saquon Barkley's MVP-caliber season last year, or James Bradberry's All-Pro season in 2022, the Eagles have taken former Giant stars and allowed them to reach new heights once they go down I-95 South.

Philadelphia may be looking for a way for that to continue as well next season.

While they already brought in a former Giant edge rusher in Azeez Ojulari, New York's draft goals may force their hand once again for another edge defender.

Kayvon Thibodeaux is the former fifth overall pick out of New York from the 2022 draft class. He had an 11-sack season in his second year, but struggled with injuries and ineffective play in 2024.

With a future contract extension coming in the next few weeks, the Giants could be looking to move the former Oregon product. Especially if they end up taking Penn State star Abdul Carter with the third overall pick.

Should that happen, Thibodeaux may be on the way out.

But wait. Why? What's wrong with having more than two quality pass-rushers? Why would the Giants be dangling Kayvon?

The answer from NFL insider Mike Fisher: "Because the Giants are confused. That's why.''

So, it's time to take advantage again.

And it would be just like the Eagles to find a way to bring Thibodeaux into the fold to try and get another one on their NFC East rivals.
