Now, the Eagles will get a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, facing Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs once again. Philly saw its 2022 season come to an end with a 38-35 loss to KC.

But before the big game, the NFL has revealed some punishments for a couple of Eagles stars, including Brown.

With 1:45 left in the second quarter, just before Jalen Hurts extended the Eagles' lead to 20-12 after a touchdown run and a failed two-point conversion, Brown was caught up in an altercation with Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore, ripping his helmet off by the facemask. However, only Lattimore received a flag.

For the incident, Brown has been fined $11,255 for his "unnecessary roughness (facemask)" on Lattimore, according to NFL Football Operations. Lattimore was not fined.

But Brown wasn't the only player from the NFC championship that was punished. In fact, he had the lowest fine on the Eagles. Defensive tackle Jalen Carter was penalized $17,445 in the fourth quarter for "unnecessary roughness (striking/kicking/kneeing)." Washington cornerback Benjamin St-Juste was fined $16,883 for "unnecessary roughness (hip-drop tackle)" in the fourth quarter as well.

Although the Eagles have relied heavily on Saquon Barkley and the running game on offense, Brown has been a solid presence for them in the passing game. Against the Commanders, the former Tennessee Titans wideout recorded six catches for 96 yards and one touchdown, his best game of the postseason.

The Eagles will aim for the second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history when they take on the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 at the Superdome in New Orleans.
