It’s the curious case of Sutton Stracke and Dorit Kemsley. Erika Jayne, who had her own issues with the Southern Belle, has comments about what is going on between her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars.
Lately, Sutton and Dorit have exchanged words. During a recent episode, the former made statements about the mother-of-two being “angry” at her life. Then, the duo revisited the conversation, with similar results. The two can’t get along, and Erika thinks she knows why.
Erika thinks Sutton needs to “lead by example”
“We’re mad at Sutton because Sutton likes to kick a dog when they’re down,” Erika told Us Weekly. “That’s a fact. I don’t think anybody looking at this without bias would say anything different.”
It does feel harsh that Dorit is on the receiving end of so much, what with her ongoing split from PK Kemsley. All the while, Sutton preached about sisterhood and had the group participate in a bonding activity.
In Erika’s opinion, Sutton needs to align her actions with her words. And currently, Sutton’s dynamic with Dorit is harsh at best.
“I never bought into the sisterhood because you have to lead by example,” Erika said. “It’s great to say things, but then you have to do it and you can’t do it once. It has to be consistent and it wasn’t. It’s a lot of nice words but you have to lead. You have to put in the action.”
Erika says the RHOBH group can “all be petty”
Erika reflected on her ups and downs with the boutique owner. She said that Sutton has different sides to her, which can make friendship difficult.
“Sometimes [she’s a friend]. I consider us to be on friendly ground more so now than ever,” Erika said. “I enjoy Sutton when she’s her bubbly, kind, fun self. I don’t enjoy her when she’s mean.”
Repeating words that her costar Bozoma Saint John used to describe Sutton, Erika gave her final take and admitted that all of the RHOBH cast can be unkind at times.
“I think there are times when Sutton is mean and there are times when she is just herself,” she said. “We can all be a little delusional. We’re all eccentric in our own ways. We can all be petty but there are times when we’ve all been mean to each other.”
