Erika Jayne Faces Backlash for Saying RHOBH Reunion Dress Was Made by ‘Random Designer’ as Designer’s Identity is Revealed & His Ties to Famous Celebs, Plus Reunion Hits Season High in Ratings

The past couple of weeks haven’t been the best for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne. She received backlash for how she and Bozoma “Boz” Saint John responded to Garcelle Beauvais departing the show, and now, her lack of acknowledgment for her reunion dress designer is catching up to her. Fans are now saying her callous response when asked where the dress came from shows that she only cares about herself.

As fans of Housewives know, fashion is quite crucial on the shows, especially when it comes to the reunions. Bravo even makes a big deal out of releasing the reunion looks to avoid them being leaked. Because of this, many were shocked by Erika saying a “random designer” was behind her beautiful gown.

Recently, the Instagram account @Facereality16 posted about Erika and her “random designer.” They revealed that it was actually Valdrin Sahiti who had made the outfit. They said in the post, “If I were Erika, I’d be doing everything I can to avoid people having to Google her name and ‘designer’…. The gorgeous dress was designed by the incredibly talented [Valdrin Sahiti].”

So far, the post has more than a thousand likes and numerous comments.

One person said, “Further evidence that she cares about nothing but herself. She’s not funny, and she’s definitely not interesting.” Notably, the last portion of this comment also calls her out for saying that she wishes Garcelle were more interesting on the show.

Another person echoed the same sentiments: “Showing her true colours, remember she told us all she cares for nobody but herself!!”

Someone else also highlighted Erika’s shady history with fashion designers, saying, “Well, we all know her history with designers. Shame that the network wants to avoid that even making it on the screen.”

For context, she has been involved in a lawsuit over claims she used her credit card to pay for clothing, but then allegedly falsely accused the designer of credit card fraud. She’s now facing a default judgment in the matter.

The backlash against Erika didn’t end there. She was also called out by Babalwa Brook on X. They wrote, “So the Random Designer who ‘Erika had make her dress’ is Valdrin Sahiti? Dude has worked with the who’s who of Hollywood, including Beyonce, multiple times. I wonder why Erika was snarky about him. Very curious! #rhobh #Rhobhreunion”

Based on the post, the designer has also worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez. Because of his fame in the fashion world, it is puzzling why Erika wouldn’t have been willing to name him during the reunion when asked.

In other RHOBH news, everyone involved with the series has some celebrating to do. According to Bravo Ratings on X, part one of the reunion pulled in a season high in live viewership with 0.971 million people watching. This is impressive as streaming is all the rage, and many have gotten rid of cable.

Fans can watch part two of the RHOBH reunion on April 8.
