Erin Andrews' Postgame Interview With Micah Parsons Is Turning Heads

NFL fans have mixed reactions to what Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons said in his postgame interview with FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews on Thursday.

The Cowboys took down the New York Giants in their Thanksgiving showdown, 27-20, allowing them to end their five-game losing streak at home this season. It's also just the second time this campaign that Dallas has won back-to-back games after going through a losing streak from Weeks 6 to 11 (they had Week 7 as a bye week).

Following the win, Parsons had a postgame interview with Andrews, during which the veteran NFL reporter asked "why" and what has been the difference for the team over their last two games.

Parsons confidently responded with, "Why not us?" before highlighting that they had enough of the criticisms that had come their way.

"To be honest, it's really been 'Why not us,'" said Parsons, who was hailed the Madden Thanksgiving MVP for the game with 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss and four QB hits. "Everybody counting us out, and it was just like, enough is enough. We know what we got, we know what we can do here, and I believe in everyone of these guys."

He added, "I believe we are gonna turn it around and make a run."

Sure enough, Micah Parsons' interview with Erin Andrews quickly turned heads. While there are those who showed support for the Cowboys, there were also plenty of critics.

"'Why not us?'" Micah Parsons speaking that championship energy after the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving W! Can they keep the momentum rolling or was this just a holiday feast?" a commenter wrote.

Another fan said, "This is good to hear."

"Go Cowboys!" a supporter further stated.

Meanwhile, a critic noted, "Why not you? Idk, maybe because it took til Thanksgiving to win at home? And it took a 2 win team to throw you a pick 6 to get it?"

Another follower shared, "The Cowboys beat the 2-10 Giants. 'WHY NOT US. Smh."

A frustrated viewer also reminded Parsons and the Cowboys, "Because they barely beat the Drew Lock-led Giants."

The Cowboys improved to 5-7 on the season with their latest win, so they still have a lot of work to do if they want to make the playoffs. While Parsons and the rest of the team are feeling confident, the only way they can silence their critics is by winning consistently and beating teams that have a better record than them.
