ESPN insider dismisses theories stating Eagles are now threatened by Washington

This would have been seen as a disrespectful statement had it been made before the Philadelphia Eagles suited up for the NFC Championship Game. Forget it... We're taking it there and don't care how most of you feel about this.

Saquon Barkley can set the NFL total season rushing record. All he wants is a Super Bowl win – 104.5 WOKV

We had no worries about the Birds being upset by the Washington Commanders. Deal with it. We didn't! Philly was the better team all season!

We were more concerned about a potential matchup with the Detroit Lions. We thought about the Kansas City Chiefs in a potential Super Bowl rematch. Washington? No way. We knew that was a 'W'.

Truth be told, we were more concerned about the Los Angeles Rams during the Divisional Round. The best thing the Commanders had going for them was some 'element of surprise', and they exhausted that when they rallied to beat Philly in Week 16

The Deebo Samuel acquisition isn't a reason for the Eagles to fear the Commanders.

We can see some tears welling up. We know this is hard to hear for some of the Commanders fans, but their late-season rally vs. this same eagles team may have been the worst thing to happen during their season.

We knew the Birds would respond after surrendering 22 fourth quarter points and giving one away. If you didn't, that's on you. Guess what? That's exactly what they did.

Don't get us wrong. The Commanders are official now. They're a team to be taken seriously, but don't let social media fool you. They aren't ready to take the Eagles' crown, and Deebo Samuel doesn't close any gaps.

Just ask ESPN's Dan Orlovsky.

Here's as honest as we can be guys. The Commanders are on the rise. The Daniel Snyder era is over, and that's the best thing that could have happened to the organization.

Jayden Daniels is the truth. This team has passed the Dallas Cowboys, and Philly and Washington are going to duke it out for a while.

Deebo doesn't close the gap though. He's on the decline. He can, at times, be a diva and an issue in the locker room.

Did you see how out of shape he was at the Super Bowl? Did you notice that Kelly Green A.J. Brown jersey he was wearing? Read 'em and weep Commanders fans. Your guy Deebo already knows who runs things in the NFC East.
