PlayStation's Days of Play event is back and there are discounts to be had on everything from the slimmer model of the PS5 to every tier of PS Plus. That naturally means a lot of games have had their prices cut too. Almost 1,000 of them, in fact, with some very new and notable titles among them. If there's a big game you missed or passed on at release on PS5, there's a strong chance your patience has paid off and you can now pick it up for less.
Topping the bill is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Despite its significance, the number of big games that hit during the first few months of 2024 may mean you let the continuation of Cloud's remade journey slip quietly into your backlog. Best Buy dropped the price of Rebirth earlier this week, and now PlayStation has cut it by even more. Pick Rebirth up between now and the end of Days of Play, so before June 13, and you'll get it for $52.49 instead of $70.

Final Fantasy Rebirth is the second part of the FF7 Remake project. It continues the story of Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER turned mercenary who joins Avalanche, a group of eco-terrorists seeking to save the planet from the malevolent Sephiroth. As the party pushes out of Midgar, leaving the Shinra Corporation devastated, where will their paths take them?
Feels like longer ago, but Naughty Dog's remaster of The Last Of Us Part 2 was also a 2024 release. Many of you might have simply upgraded the PS4 version of the game for $10, but if you don't own the base copy, the PS5 version costs $50. That's unless you buy it during Days of Play. The Last Of Us Part II Remastered

The Last Of Us Part 2's remaster is more than just a better-looking version of the original game. Enhanced for PS5, the remaster also adds a roguelike mode, DualSense support, and three lost levels that were cut from the original game during early development.
Surprisingly, there's a game in the Days of Play sale that has both Rebirth and TLOU Part 2 Remastered when it comes to how new it is. Two of them, in fact, as Rise of the Ronin and TopSpin 2K25 are both available for less. Rise of the Ronin, which was released exclusively on PS5 in March, is down to less than $50 from its usual $70 pricetag, and TopSpin, a series that returned a little over a month ago after lying dormant for more than a decade, is 20 percent off.
