Fire breaks out at site of Lisa Vanderpump’s future Las Vegas hotel
A fire erupted Friday morning at the location of where Lisa Vanderpump’s future Las Vegas hotel will be.
Video shared on social media showed the under-construction Cromwell boutique hotel (which will soon become The Vanderpump Hotel in 2026) with smoke billowing out of the building.
Crowds were seen gathering outside of the property at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road. Fire alarms and first responder sirens could be heard blaring in the background.
Vanderpump’s restaurant Pinky’s, which sits next to The Cromwell hotel, was also seen in the video.
A representative for Caesars Entertainment confirmed the fire on Friday in a statement, explaining that the emergency scene first started inside the building’s parking garage.
“It was quickly extinguished, and there were no reported injuries,” a spokesperson tells Page Six.
“Out of an abundance of caution, some guest rooms were briefly evacuated,” they continue, adding that “all operations have returned to normal” in the hours since.
“We would like to thank the Clark County Fire Department for its swift response,” the rep concludes in the statement.
Reps for Vanderpump did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The Cromwell remains open to the public as it continues to undergo construction before the 2026 Vanderpump Hotel debut date.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum announced the new business venture in March, sharing that she was “thrilled” to partner with Caesars Entertainment on the new entity.
“What an extraordinary opportunity to develop this iconic location into something unique, playful and upscale. Hospitality has always been our passion, and our mission is to create something sumptuous with a unique atmosphere,” she said in a press release.
“Our successful history has always been based on the individuality of the location. Through my design company, Vanderpump Alain, with my partner Nick Alain, we can’t wait to breathe new life into this property and make it something truly magical.”
