'Fire Country' Fans Aren't Ready for This Massive Season 4 Update from CBS

It's official Fire Country fans — we're heading back to Edgewater.

Almost three months after the CBS drama aired its season 3 finale, folks got the ultimate surprise this week about the show's impending season 4.

On July 11, the show posted a photo featuring actor Max Thieriot (who portrays Bode Leone) and Morena Baccarin (who plays Sheriff Mickey Fox) on Instagram, letting viewers know Fire Country season 4 will premiere on October 17, 2025 on CBS. But that's not all the series revealed. Along with the Fire Country airing its first season 4 episode, fans will also get to see the series premiere of the brand-new Sheriff Country spinoff that same night.

"Mark your calendars … 🗓️ ✍️ because NOTHING will be the same starting on Friday, Oct 17," the caption read. "Race ya there? 🔥."

As soon as viewers realized they'll be going back to Edgewater thanks to Fire Country season 4 and Sheriff Country premiere dates, it quickly caused a frenzy online.

"Can’t wait for Fire Country," one person exclaimed in the comments. "LET’S GOOO ❤️🔥x👮🏻," another declared. "So excited!!! Can't wait! ❤️🔥❤️🔥," a different follower added.

Now, this is the news we've been waiting for! After all, the season 3 finale left viewers with a massive cliffhanger about the fate of one Leone family member, along with other surprising twists.

In addition to finally learning which person of the Leone family will not survive the massive fire that burned down the assisted living facility in the area, fans will also see Stephanie Arcila exit as Gabriela Perez ahead of season 4. And as Max teased to TV Line back in June, his character is going to experience some hardcore emotions right from the get-go.

"Bode has obviously gone through a lot of hardship in his life, and it seems like every time he feels like he’s coming out the other side, something happens," he told the outlet at the time. "We know [Bode has] made leaps and bounds as far as the person he is after being incarcerated. But has he come fare enough to deal with something like that or not? It’s heavy."
