Prior to the 2014 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers signed defensive tackle Letroy Guion, a former fifth round pick by the Minnesota Vikings, to boost their defensive line. The move, of course, worked as Green Bay had one of the best overall teams in the NFL that season. Before their heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game, many pegged the Packers as the favorite to win the Super Bowl.
For his part, Guion had the best season of his career, playing in and starting all 16 games while recording career highs in tackles (32) and sacks (3.5). Unfortunately, that year was the most productive Guion would be in Green Bay, with the rest of his tenure marred by legal troubles and suspensions.
Former Green Bay Packers Defensive Tackle Letroy Guion Has a Poor Legal History

As previously mentioned, Guion had 3.5 sacks for the Packers in 2014. Unfortunately, those would be the only sacks he would accrue during his three seasons in Green Bay.
While he played a total of 44 games (35 starts) during that time, most of the headlines Guion made after 2014 were more for the issues he had off the field rather than his play on it.
In February of 2015, Guion was pulled over in his hometown of Starke, Florida. He was arrested for being in possession of 357 grams of marijuana and a semi-automatic handgun. Both carried felony charges. Additionally, Guion had $190,000 in cash on him.
As he had no prior record, Guion was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and the charges were dismissed. Unfortunately, this incident was not the last legal issue the former Packers defensive tackle would have.
During the 2017 offseason, Guion was suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the upcoming season for violating their policy on performance enhancing drugs. Later that summer, he was arrested in Hawaii for driving under the influence. This prompted Green Bay to release him before the season even began. He never played in the NFL again.
In 2021, Guion was arrested in Green Bay on charges for domestic battery and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced in 2023, but avoided jailtime by being placed on probation. However, he was arrested in February of 2024 for violating his parole.
Today, Easton Butler of Packer Report posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Guion has, once again, been arrested in Brown County, Wisconsin.
As one can see from the post above, Guion has been charged with disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and probation violation.
No other details about this latest arrest are known at this time.
