Here's something we haven't seen in a long time. Former Detroit Lions All-Pro defensive tackle and second overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Ndamukong Suh, is at the Meijer Performance Center in Allen Park for Lions training camp on Wednesday. This is the first time he's been at the facility since 2014.

Before you get excited and jump to any conclusions, this is not a return to the Lions for Suh. He retired from the NFL in July and has since begun taking part in the media. He has a new podcast called No Free Lunch and has joined Sky Sports as an NFL analyst. At this time, we're not sure what Suh is doing in Allen Park, but it's likely something to do with either of those projects.
Still, it's a blast from the past for sure, and Suh is not the first former Lion to be in the building this summer. He's not even the first this week. Former All-Pro safety Glover Quinn was at Allen Park on Monday.
Suh has long been connected to the Lions since he left in 2014. There have always been hopes from some fans that he would return, but it never materialized. In 2023, there were rumors that Suh had been in contact with the Lions and wanted to return, but that the Lions turned him down. Dan Campbell seemed to hint towards that in a presser a few weeks later.
