Former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Bud Dupree will be ‘good to go’ against the Steelers after missing most of the week with an illness. Dupree, now playing for the Los Angeles Chargers, is a critical part of their depth rotation that features Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack, and Tuli Tuipulotu.
Dupree played for the Steelers from 2015 to 2020, when he then left to join the Tennessee Titans. He played with the Atlanta Falcons and decided to join the Chargers this offseason. The Steelers brought him in for a visit, but Dupree chose the Chargers over Pittsburgh.

Now, Dupree will have an opportunity to show what he can do. He forced two penalties last week against the Carolina Panthers.
Dupree was the running mate with T.J. Watt for multiple seasons before Alex Highsmith took that mantle. He had two productive seasons for the Steelers in 2019 and 2020, though he tore his ACL in 2020, which forced him to miss the rest of the season.
Now, he and the Chargers can face Broderick Jones and Dan Moore Jr. after Troy Fautanu left practice early on Friday and could miss the rest of the season.
