Each year the draft arrives, teams and fans think back to previous drafts. For the 49ers, they took some time to remember drafting Nick Bosa with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft.

In a social media post on X, San Francisco showed some love to Bosa by bringing back his draft photos. Bosa has worked out well for the 49ers and continues to be one of the NFL's most feared pass rushers.

George Kittle, the team's star tight end, showed up in the comments section with a five-word message about San Francisco's decision to draft Bosa.

"That was a good pick," he wrote.

Throughout his first six NFL seasons, Bosa has played in 82 total games. He has racked up 261 total tackles to go along with 62.5 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and nine defended passes. The 49ers could not have asked for much more.

Tonight, San Francisco will be on the clock with the No. 11 overall pick, barring a trade. With that selection, the 49ers will have plenty of directions they could choose to go.

Another storyline swirling around the franchise has to do with the future of Brock Purdy. San Francisco has yet to work out a new contract with Purdy and there have been rumblings about the two sides parting ways if things don't improve in the near future.

Putting aside all of the Purdy negotiation drama, the 49ers are ready to add their next young impact player tonight and can only hope that the pick follows the same trajectory that adding Bosa has had.
