Green Bay Packers: Matt Ryan Makes Incredible Announcement Regarding The Packers

The Green Bay Packers and Matt Ryan have a bit of a history together.  In total the two have met nine times.  The Packers hold a 5-4 overall record against Ryan, however, the two are 1-1 against each other in the playoffs.

Ryan’s loss to the Packers in the playoffs came in 2011 (the 2010 season) when the Packers went on a run to win Super Bowl XLV.  Ryan’s win came in 2017 (the 2016 season) in the NFC Championship game.

However, Ryan had some pretty telling comments about Green Bay’s future today.

Before the Celebrity Foursome at the American Family Golf Championship, former NFL quarterback Matt Ryan commented on Jordan Love and Packers future:

I thought he had a great first year.  We called their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so we had that loss.  I mean, it was a tough loss for the Packers, but he made a couple throws during that game that reminded me so much of Aaron Rodgers.

The ability to move outside the pocket, to throw from kind of off platform situations and deliver it with velocity and the accuracy that he did, I was really impressed.

I think the space where he takes the next steps, right, it’s cleaning up some of those simple things, being a little bit more consistent, I think if he can do that, the sky’s the limit.

As the offseason workout program kicked off, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love felt the energy and bonding between teammates.

Love said 2024 could be a “very special” year for the Packers.

After overcoming adversity in last year’s first half and going on to make the playoffs, the Packers returned to Lambeau Field with near perfect attendance for the offseason program:

“The bond that started off last year and we became a lot closer, just though the adversity of last season and making a run at the end there,” Love said Tuesday. “But coming into OTAs, there’s been so much energy in the building. Since I’ve been here, I feel like this is the closet the team has been.

It’s been very awesome to see guys going out there and competing. Having everyone here at this time is very cool because you’re just building those relationships and getting closer with guys, getting to go out there and work with them every day. So I think this team is in an awesome spot right now.”

Everyone thinks the future is extremely bright for this young Packers squad, and rightfully so.
