Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson Excites Fans After Practice

The Green Bay Packers could have something special with their Jordan Love-Christian Watson duo.  Love established himself as (at minimum) a top ten quarterback in the league last season.  Statistically, he performed like one of the best three quarterbacks during the second half of the season.

Watson, when healthy, can absolutely change the outlook of a game.  Packers fans have seen him take over on a moments notice and be near un-guard-able.

Today, Watson had something to say about his quarterback.

Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Christian Watson Goes Off About Jordan Love

According to Fox 6 Now reporter Lily Zhao:

It’s all love.

#Packers Christian Watson on Jordan Love: “He’s here in every meeting… there’s a business side to the game as well… he’s gotta handle what he’s gotta handle. You know we’re supporting him 100 percent. I mean, he’s our guy. We love him.”

Due to two hamstring injuries, Watson played just nine games in 2023 and took just 40.7% of the offensive snaps. In his limited time, Watson had 28 receptions and five touchdowns, but he has been sidelined by injuries for the second consecutive year.

“Everyone says your availability is your best ability, so I’ve got to find a way to stay out there,” Watson said at the end of the 2023 campaign. “I think I’m my best when I’m able to find my rhythm, find my groove and continue to build on it.

“So being out, being back, being out, being back, I don’t think it’s right for anybody, but I definitely know it’s not right for me to play my best ball. I’ve just got to find a way to be out there and stay out there.

This off-season a lot of news was made about Watson going to Madison to get to the bottom of his hamstring injuries.  The Packers and Watson himself are hoping those injuries are behind him and he can get back to taking to top off defenses.
