Bachelor Nation is getting ready for the highly anticipated Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The show is heading to Costa Rica for the first time and will be premiering on Monday, July 7, at 8 p.m. on ABC and streaming later on Hulu.
Jesse Palmer will be returning as our beloved host, and bartender Wells Adams is being joined by Hannah Brown as “Paradise Relations.”
As Hannah prepares to hit the beach, the former Bachelorette is revealing who her Season 10 cast standouts are and why she decided to join BIP this season.
On a new episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour,” she shared, “I have been out of the [Bachelor Nation] world for a little bit, so it gave me I think an advantage to actually be super helpful because I didn’t have any preconceived notions about any of these cast members. Other than, I did know Kat because when I came and visited the prior season, she was there. But I didn’t really get much of a conversation with her so I still didn’t know her that well.”
Hannah then listed the cast members who stood out to her on the beach and who she was excited to see.
“I was really shocked but also excited to see Dale Moss on the beach, just because his experience on ‘Bachelorette’ is unlike anyone else’s,” she revealed, “And so to have him come back and have this new shot at love, I was really excited about for him. Also, I saw so many memes during, I think it was Joey’s season, about Jess [Edwards] because people say that we look alike. So, I just wanted to be like, do we actually look alike? And also, she was very sweet, so I was excited to meet her. Justin Glaze… I was excited and interested to see how he was going to handle this experience. He’s awesome, but that was another cast member that I was excited to see how their experience was gonna go.”
Hannah then shared why she decided to join this season and how it came to be.
“It was totally out of the blue,” she said, “the last season that it was on, I came in for a day and helped host and it was really fun, I had such a great time. And [this producer who called] was like, ‘Would you be interested in having a bigger role in ‘Bachelor in Paradise?’’ And I was like, ‘Me? You want me, really?’ I was just kind of shocked that I was even who they thought of.”
“They were saying they wanted to have more of a female presence on the show for the ladies to really have someone to talk to,” Hannah continued, “so I was like that could be really interesting and I feel like I’ve learned a lot about relationships and how I would have done things differently or the same and so it got me really excited to think of this almost as a way to get back into the world with the wisdom that I wish that maybe I would’ve had spoken into me when I was going through the experience… I got excited and was like, ‘Yeah let’s do it.’”
