Hannah Sluss Marries Jake Funk in Italian Wedding with Just the Two of Them: ‘We Decided It Would Just Be Us’

An intimate affair!

In 2022, Bachelor Nation star Hannah Ann Sluss revealed her relationship with professional football player Jake Funk.

Last year, the two got engaged on the stunning beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Now, the couple is officially married, as they tied the knot in a special ceremony with just the two of them in the Italian countryside.

Hannah Ann and Jake spoke with People about exchanging vows in a private ceremony at a 12th-century castle nestled in Tuscany.

They shared why they wanted to get married on their own.

Hannah Ann said, “We decided it would just be us and to really focus on the commitment and significance of marriage. It’s easy to get caught up in all the glitz and glam. So having our wedding just for us made the most sense and made it meaningful.”

The two are now celebrating by enjoying a honeymoon in Tuscany and Switzerland before heading back to Miami, where they will have a wedding celebration with family and friends next month.

Hannah Ann shared why they decided to do their honeymoon right away, saying, “We are doing two in one, which made sense for us. We could just knock both of those out and then not have to wait until after football season to have an actual honeymoon.”

The couple also shared a special way they honored Jake’s late father, who passed away last summer.

Jake got his ring engraved with their initials inside, which is what he did with his mom on their wedding day.

Hannah Ann said, “It was a way to honor his dad and continue that tradition. I thought it was really special because often there are many customizations for girls, but for a guy, this was a deep gesture.”
