The Valley castmates (who previously appeared on Vanderpump Rules together) announced their split in February 2024, and Brittany filed for divorce that August.

As she navigates her split, Brittany told The Daily Mail, "I'm working on myself because I need to heal."

"To be honest with you I thought I would be with Jax forever so this is so new for me," she continued. "It is taking some time to heal and move on."

Brittany Cartwright's "new" includes cosmetic surgery

In addition to bettering herself internally, Brittany recently made a physical tweak following her split from Jax.

She got AirSculpt done on her stomach, a decision that was inspired by her Valley castmate, Kristen Doute (who also had it done). Per its website, AirSculpt is a minimally invasive option for those looking for "body contouring."

During an AirSculpt session, "Fat is removed through an opening smaller than a pencil eraser."

Discussing her experience with AirSculpt, which she did over Memorial Day weekend, Brittany said, "Yeah, you can say I wanted a revenge body."

"I wanted to look good after everything I’ve been through this year. I want to look my very best," she continued, noting that she wanted "contouring on [her] lower abdomen"  because she felt like her stomach was different after giving birth to her and Jax's son, Cruz Michael Cauchi. "I wanted to get my sparkle back."

Are Jax and Brittany still split up?

Yes, Brittany and Jax are still estranged in their marriage.

The two have been living separately since they announced their split. While Brittany was initially living in Airbnbs, Jax has since moved to a townhouse (which happens to be in the same building as Tom Schwartz's new house). Brittany is back in their Valley Village home.

"I thought it was a good move for me to get my own place, because it wasn't fair for Brittany to keep getting these Airbnbs, and she wasn't sure where she was going to go," Jax said on the September 20 episode of his podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. "Plus, I didn't want my son to be bouncing around to all these places. It didn't seem right. They weren't his home. It wasn't his house. It wasn't his pool. It wasn't his bedroom."

Amid their breakup, Jax and Brittany are also working on their co-parenting relationship. In a recent Instagram Story, Jax shared that he was helping Brittany get out her Halloween decorations. In return, she offered him a "homecooked meal."

"Thanks Brittany," Jax wrote over a photo of a casserole.
