The Philadelphia Eagles were the class of the NFC East in 2024, winning five of six against division opponents before throttling the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game to advance to the franchise’s second Super Bowl appearance in seasons.
While, with the exception of offensive guard Mekhi Becton’s departure, the Eagles are returning the entire supporting cast around Super Bowl MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts, the road to a repeat might not be as easy as meets the eye for Philadelphia.
A.J. Brown Reveals Philadelphia Eagles’ Dallas Cowboys Worry
The Eagles are considered among the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the second consecutive year, but it is a division rival’s moves this offseason that could shake things up.
Even wide receiver A.J. Brown admits that the Dallas Cowboys, after trading for dynamic playmaking wide receiver George Pickens, are now a legitimate team to worry about.

“I like that, I ain’t gonna lie,” Brown said during a recent discussion with fans, via his YouTube channel.
“We’re going to have to worry about (Dallas), for sure. We’re going to have to worry about them. No, I like the trade. I do like the trade. I like the competition. I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb. And they collab. It’s going to be exciting to watch. Because all that does is bring the best out of us. So, if we know how they coming, we are going to have to step it up.”
Pairing Pickens with Lamb could set the Cowboys up to make a legitimate charge at the postseason and possibly even a playoff run, around quarterback Dak Prescott, and just might be the move that closes the gap within the division.
