The RHOBH BFFs headed to Greece for a girls' trip back in Season 7... and we're still not over their glam getaway.
The ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills definitely know how to travel. This group has jetted all over the globe over the years with stops in France, China, Dubai, Germany, Italy, and yes, even Mykonos, Greece. In fact, we're still not over Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne's girls' trip to the glam Greek destination from back in Season 7.
Details on Kyle and Erika's Trip to Mykonos
Back in Season 7, Episode 7 of RHOBH, besties Kyle and Erika landed in Mykonos. The duo took the trip together after Erika booked a gig in the Greek city. And, yes, you can bet that the ladies loved every moment of the glam getaway.
During the trip, Kyle shared about how much fun it was to see Erika in her element as a performer and how different it was compared to her life back in LA. "Erika and I have very, very different lives," Kyle said in a confessional in the episode about the vacation. "I mean, I'm still waking up and making breakfast for my kids and snacks and carpool. And meanwhile she's being tossed up in the air by all these good-looking, naked guys in Mykonos... and getting paid to do it! I mean, hello, she's having a lot of fun!"
Their trip continued into Episode 8 when Erika took the stage to perform. Erika reflected on the experience in her blog post: "This is the week! We’re in Mykonos for my performance at the XLSIOR Festival, and I’m thrilled to have Kyle here with me," she wrote in her cast blog back in 2017. "I’m happy that she and I were able to have dinner by the beach before the show madness began. I enjoy Kyle’s company, and I find her very easy to relate to. She’s both a mother and a business woman, and it’s nice to feel that mutual support."
She continued: "Now it’s showtime in Mykonos! It’s 3:30 in the morning, there are 30,000 people in the audience, and I’m climbing up the side of a cliff in a onesie and Chanel boots. Now this is a show. Once I get up on that stage, the energy of that audience blew me away. I've never seen anything like it. I can’t think of a better way to debut my single 'XXPENSIVE' than performing by the beach in Mykonos in front of this amazing crowd. What a magical experience."
The trip, as Erika recalled in her blog post at the time, wasn't all work. It definitely included some play for the pals: "Kyle stripping down to her swimsuit and joining me for a sunrise photo shoot was amazing. That’s why I love this girl – she’s down for anything. That night was the perfect way to end this incredible trip. We have to do this again!"
Did Mauricio Umansky Go on the Trip to Mykonos?
No! In the Season 7 episode, the pair bid a farewell before she headed off to hang with Erika in Mykonos. As Kyle noted in the episode, "I'm looking forward to just being away with Erika" and taking some time for herself away from Mauricio and their kids.
But he joined the group on a trip that same season to Mexico where he was opening an office for The Agency in Punta Mita, Mexico. Kyle reflected on the group's drama on that trip in a cast blog also from 2017, noting that amid the cast's ups and downs at that time, "I was more than happy to put aside everything that happened."
