Insider Reveals 2 Teams Trying to Trade for Titans' No. 1 Pick

First-year general manager Mike Borgonzi is in a tricky position with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. While there are a handful of players he could select that would make an immediate impact on the team, this roster is not just one player away from being a contender.

Titans Linked to Blockbuster No. 1 Pick Trade With Cowboys

Many in NFL circles think that the Tennessee Titans should trade back to gain more future capital and continue building the team. ESPN's Dan Graziano believes that two big market teams could be trade partners for the Titans if they decide to go that route.

"A lot of folks believe the Titans are interested in trading out of the top pick," wrote Graziano. "The Giants and Jets are among the teams believed to be interested in moving up."

While trading back may not be the most exciting option for Tennessee fans, it is likely the best scenario for the franchise. Trading with the Giants or Jets would mean they would likely gain a future first-rounder and still select at No. 3 or No. 7 this year, respectively.

Tennessee seems to like Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter and Colorado's two-way star Travis Hunter, and at least one of them should be available if they move back to No. 3. If they get into the range of No. 7, they would likely gain even more future capital but would miss out on the top-tier prospects in this year's class.

Mike Borgonzi is a bit of a wildcard as he has never been the main decision-maker for an NFL franchise before. But, he has seen success up close for 16 years with the Kansas City Chiefs, so he is more than capable of making the right decision for the Titans this offseason.
