The New York Jets' 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings was poor, particularly from an offensive standpoint.
Aaron Rodgers threw three interceptions, and to make matters worse, on one play, his leg got twisted, leaving him on the ground in pain before he would continue the game.
But still, at his ripe age of 40, any "little" thing has the potential to develop into something bigger, and while there was some concern about his availability for New York's clash against the Buffalo Bills, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich seems confident A-Rod will be full-go.
"He's looked really good," Ulbrich said. "He's a magician as far as the work he puts into his body and all the [regeneration] and all the everything. He looks like Aaron, which is a fantastic thing, as we all know."
With the Jets on a two-game losing streak ahead of Buffalo's visit, having a less-than-100 percent Rodgers wouldn't have been ideal, but it seems the four-time MVP winner is ready to roll.
Coming up against a Bills side that is also on a two-game losing streak, both teams will be looking to return to the winner's list and, by doing so, take first place in the AFC East.
For the Jets, this game has a little more riding on it. If they lose, their season will look vastly different, with a 2-4 record compared to breaking even at 3-3.
Performance can improve immediately with a head coaching change, and it feels like it won't take much for this Jets season to begin spiraling out of control if that doesn't happen against Buffalo.
Can they get this train back on the tracks with the "magician" in Rodgers at the wheel?
