It's been a little while since we've seen the likes of Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley garner legitimate hype, but rookie quarterback Cam Ward is out to change that.
In a recent OTA practice, Ward connected with Ridley on a perfect strike down the right sideline.
The throw and catch looked like the two of them were already in sync and might have given new life to the Ridley hype.
We are truly in "slo-mo" season, but do these videos ever get old? We're just about in the toughest stretch of the offseason as fans starve for football once more.
Be honest with yourselves. These videos simply do not get old.
It's been a while since Titans fans could be legitimately excited about an offense, but the no. 1 overall pick looks to shift the tide.
And, Ward could be exactly who Ridley needed at this point in his career. For the past two years, Ridley has been able to top the 1,000-yard mark, although he's still not viewed as a top-tier wide receiver like he was once trending to be.
After a rookie season which saw him catch 10 touchdowns, Ridley has not finished in double digit scores since. The best year of his career came in 2020 when he went for nearly 1,400 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Titans haven't had a receiver finish in double-digit touchdowns since AJ Brown back in 2020. Before Brown, we saw guys like Kenny Britt and Rishard Matthews finish with nine scores, but otherwise you'd have to go all the way back to the flash in the pan that was Drew Bennett's 11 receiving touchdowns in 2004.
If Ridley and Ward have a special connection early on, this could be exactly what the Titans offense has been lacking for a long time.

Franklin Arias might not get the same level of hype some of the other Red Sox prospects have received in recent years, but that might already be changing. The shortstop should probably start being included in the same breath as Boston ...
