Jackson Mahomes Posts Four-Word Message to Patrick Mahomes After Chiefs' 8-0 Start

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs continue to look like the best team in the NFL after a 30-24 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9's edition of "Monday Night Football." Now, the Chiefs sit at 8-0 to start the 2024 NFL season, the best start of Mahomes' eight-year career.

Who Is Patrick Mahomes' Brother? All About Jackson Mahomes

With his brother Jackson Mahomes in attendance, Patrick Mahomes had one of his better games of the year. The former Texas Tech star completed 34-of-44 passes for 291 yards and a season-high three touchdowns.

On Tuesday, Patrick Mahomes took to social media to make the same post he has done after each win this season. The caption included just a simple clock emoji.

Jackson Mahomes, continuing to show support for his older brother, took to the comment section to send the two-time NFL MVP a message regarding the Chiefs' 8-0 start.

"Let’s get it bro!!!" Jackson Mahomes wrote on Instagram. "8-0."

Patrick Mahomes hasn't necessarily had the best start to the season in the box score, at least by his standards. The three-time Super Bowl champion has posted 1,942 yards (14th in the NFL) for 11 touchdowns (t-10th) and nine interceptions (t-2nd). However, he keeps finding ways to win.

Heading into Week 10, Kansas City may have even larger goals in mind than just a threepeat. They are potentially looking to become the second team in NFL history to finish a season undefeated, including the regular season and in the playoffs. The only team to achieve such a feat was the 1972 Miami Dolphins, who won all 14 regular season games and three in the playoffs on their way to a perfect 17-0.

If Patrick Mahomes wants to accomplish this, he will have to help his team win three more games than the Dolphins did, which would put the Chiefs at 20-0.
