Jake Paul has sensationally accused boxing legend Mike Tyson of wanting shorter rounds for their impending clash at AT&T Stadium, amidst a heated build-up to the highly anticipated fight. The bout, originally slotted for July, was delayed until November after a health scare for "Iron Mike" in May.
The event, which is backed by Netflix, has stirred up considerable debate due to the three-decade age difference between the fighters, causing a rift in the combat sports community. With the initial summer engagement deferred, online sensation Paul instead faced off against Mike Perry, a crossover star from BKFC and UFC, triumphing with a knockout in the sixth round.

Boosted by an unblemished streak of four bouts following his sole defeat to Tommy Fury last year, "Problem Child" Paul is honing in on the marque fight of his burgeoning boxing profile, ready to face former heavyweight champion Tyson as winter approaches. During a fiery press meet in New York, Paul didn't mince his words, alleging that Tyson himself had requested shorter encounters in their upcoming match, bluntly stating: "You're the one that wanted eight, two-minute rounds.
"Want to make it eight or threes? Don't talk to me about shape, he then continued, as he risked the wrath of the man once known as " the 27-year-old challenger boldly stated, risking the ire of the man once dubbed "The Baddest Man on the Planet". Tyson's response was simple and chilling: "Be careful."
Undeterred by Tyson's warning, the social media sensation retorted: "That's the thing, everyone is all talk. I'll do whatever, wherever, whenever, it's all talk. Put it on the line. I'm stating facts, he's [...] talking."
Tyson, however, seems confident in his ability to triumph later this year, declaring: "We've got a YouTuber fighting the greatest fighter who ever lived. He may have been in the ring with people who have the same intentions, but the actuality, no. As soon as I catch this guy its going to be totally over, he' going to run."
Paul responded defiantly: "This is history; everyone is saying I'm going to get knocked out but what happens when I put this man to sleep? He's saying its going to be my funeral, he's saying it's going to be my wake, he's going to kill Jake Paul... I respect Mike Tyson but we're not friends anymore, I'm knocking this [...] out and we'll see who's dead."
In a further tirade, Paul also lashed out at those present at the press conference, exclaiming: "Hey New York, shut the [...] up New York. Boo yourselves New York. Hey New York you're just like Mike Tyson, you were good 20 years ago. [...] you New York, [...] you. Dumbass Democratic city."
"You had to go on your little menopause break and postpone the fight. What about that dog? I was ready before and you needed a little break. Does your tummy hurt still?", he taunted, aiming a series of jibes at veteran fighter Tyson, who eventually responded with: "I feel a lot better now."
