Jake Paul has been warned that Mike Tyson, despite being 58 years old, still possesses the power to knock him out.

The highly anticipated clash between Paul and Tyson is scheduled for November 15 in Texas. The fight was originally planned to take place four months earlier but was postponed due to Tyson suffering from an inflamed ulcer, which delayed his return to the ring after four years.

Despite Tyson's health concerns and the significant 30-year age difference, former UFC champion Francis Ngannou believes that Tyson is more than capable of posing a serious threat to Paul.

Ngannou, who has shared the boxing ring with the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, briefly trained with Tyson prior to his boxing debut against Fury last year. During an appearance on Paul's podcast, Ngannou was asked if he thought Tyson could "kick Paul's ---".

He responded: "Yeah, I do," he said. "Listen, I have seen Tyson move around just to show me stuff. He was like, ‘This footwork moves like this,’ and I was like hold on, like, calm down. He’s still got it. Either way, I think Mike Tyson will beat you up. We’re talking about Mike, bro. Mike is something else. He’s a specimen."

Tyson's last appearance in the ring was in 2020 when he faced off against fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr in an eight-round exhibition match held behind closed doors. Prior to that, Tyson's final professional fight took place in 2005, where he retired on his stool after five rounds against Kevin McBride.

The former undisputed world champion has expressed his conviction in triumphing over Paul later this year, declaring during their press conference face-off: "As soon as I catch this guy, it's over. Jake Paul is going to be running around the ring, but as soon as I catch this guy, it's going to be totally over.

"I'm very prepared to knock out Jake Paul. I'm very prepared. I had a small adversity. I got sick, but I feel good. I'm just ready. I'm just ready. I'm going to do my talk and I'm going to talk my ----, but I'm ready to fight."

But Paul is also confident of victory, saying: "He's saying that it's going to be my funeral. He's saying it's going to be my wake. He's going to kill Jake Paul. All of these things, and that's why I love Mike. I respect him, but we're not friends anymore until November 15. I'm knocking this ---------- out and we're going to see who's dead."
