The Philadelphia Eagles are now over two months removed from their dominant victory in Super Bowl LIX, capturing their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history, with Super Bowl MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts leading the charge.
After some initial controversy regarding whether they would attend, the Eagles are set to meet with President Donald Trump at the White House next week to celebrate their championship victory. But it seems they may be heading there without their most integral player, as Hurts left the question of whether he would attend unanswered.
During an interview with TIME Magazine, when asked, "Are you planning on visiting the White House next week?" Hurts responded with an unsure, "Ummm..." before walking away without providing a clear answer.

Jalen Hurts' answer quickly captured over 120,000 views within the first eight hours of being posted and sparked mixed reactions from fans.
"Disgraceful to say nothing," A fan said.
"Crazy putting him in that position with this question," Another fan posted.
"Lost a tremendous amount of respect right there," Someone else added.
One more fan commented, "Doesn’t matter who is in the White House… whether you love/hate, agree/disagree with the current administration, visiting the White House with ANY president should be one of the highest honors that we get to do as an American citizen."
The Eagles are set to visit Washington D.C. on Monday for their White House trip, but following Hurts' cryptic response, it's unclear whether he will join his teammates and coaching staff.
However, it's worth noting that Hurts did visit the White House in 2018 when he attended with the Alabama Crimson Tide after winning the national championship, during Donald Trump's administration.
