Jax Taylor claimed he’s not dating other people amid his separation from wife Brittany Cartwright. He also indicated that he doesn’t view himself as single and addressed if women are coming onto him.
Earlier this year, The Valley star was spotted multiple times with model Paige Woolen, who seemingly joked that she was pregnant with his child. But amid fan backlash, Jax denied that they were dating.
Throughout his separation – which was instigated by Brittany after a bad fight – fans have speculated that the exes are maybe getting back together. The duo, who share a toddler, apparently still take trips as a family and spend plenty of time together.
In an interview with TMZ, Jax shared how he was traveling for a business trip with Tom Schwartz. The reporter asked if these events are more fun now that he’s back on the market.
“I don’t think of it like that,” he said. “I actually miss my family a lot cause I’ve been gone for the last 12 days.”
When asked if a lot of women have been throwing themselves on him since the split, Jax suggested that the number hasn’t changed, and it’s been “the same every year.”
Jax repeated that he doesn’t “look at it like that,” and he explained, “I just get to meet the fans and have fun. It’s business, not pleasure.”
He then shared that the cast will begin filming the second season soon.
The reporter then asked if he’s living the “single life.”
“Brittany and I are separated and we’re just trying to figure it out. So I don’t know what you want to call it,” he said. “I don’t look at it that way. I’m not dating or anything.”
He then denied, again, that he was dating Paige.
Jax was later asked if he hopes for a reconciliation with Brittany. “I don’t know. I can’t, really,” he said.
Despite his claim that he’s not dating, TMZ recently obtained a video of him apparently hanging out with an unidentified woman in a group setting.
